Artist Ekene Ijeoma will join the MIT Media Lab, founding and directing the Poetic Justice analysis group, in January 2019. Ijeoma, who can be an assistant teacher, works on intersections of design, structure, songs, performance, and technology, generating multisensory artworks from individual experiences, social issues, and data studies.
Ijeoma’s work explores subjects and problems which range from refugee migration to mass incarceration.
